Growing up in Casper, Hollis (Holly) Wold Anderson developed an understanding and appreciation for the ranching and energy industries at an early age. Her family has a strong history in both activities and is dedicated to expanding Wyoming’s economic well-being, while at the same time preserving its western heritage. Holly received her BA in environmental geography at Colgate University.
After graduation, she launched her career working alongside aspiring and motivated leaders at Whirlwind, LLC, based in Casper. Between 2007 and 2011, she facilitated the expansion of Whirlwind’s asset portfolio through wind site exploration, land procurement, and environmental permitting, culminating in an asset sale in late 2010.
In early 2011, Holly joined Pathfinder Renewable Wind Energy. She brought with her a pioneering spirit and desire to create a better Wyoming through socially conscious and environmentally responsible energy development. At Pathfinder, Holly focuses much of her time and resources on the Pathfinder Zephyr Wind and Whirlwind I Wind Projects, designed to protect Wyoming’s natural and cultural resources while striving towards a balanced and diversified energy economy.
Holly was a founding member of the Wyoming Power Producers Coalition and serves on the Advisory board for the wind technician program at the Laramie County Community College. She is very active in the Wyoming community and spends most of her free time with her husband, family and dogs on her family’s cattle ranch in Johnson County, Wyoming.
