Born in Laramie, WY and raised on a large family ranching operation at Miles City, Montana, Vic Garber began his career in the energy business in the Spring of 1977. 

Over the past 37 years, his professional career has been regionally focused within many Rocky Mountain States including Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado and Utah. For 26 1/2 years, Vic worked as the Senior Landman at Peabody Energy handling the land responsibilities for both their union and non-union holdings, working with the company on coal, oil, gas, and permitting and transportation projects.  At the age of 55, Vic retired from Peabody and started his own full service land company, VeJay Energy & Land, Inc..  Vic and his team have been integral members of the Pathfinder wind project, successfully leasing over 100,000 acres of wind leases in southeast Wyoming which will provide the footprint for wind energy production that will be transmitted to California via the Zephyr Transmission Project.  Vic and his family live on their small family ranch along the North Platte River south of Douglas, Wyoming.
